Organizations expect innovation—but great ideas often stall before they ever make an impact. Innovation Leadership helps leaders understand how innovation actually works and what it takes to move ideas from concept to implementation.
Grounded in CCL’s decades of research on leadership and innovation, this self-paced course introduces participants to a clear, practical framework for innovation that balances creative thinking with disciplined execution. Participants explore what innovation is (and is not), why promising ideas often get dismissed, and how leaders can more effectively support experimentation, learning, and progress.
Through short lessons, reflection prompts, real-world application activities, and peer interaction, participants apply innovation concepts directly to current challenges in their organizations—building confidence in their ability to frame problems, test ideas, and lead innovation efforts with intention.
Innovation Leadership is designed for:
- Leaders at all levels and across all functions
- Professionals responsible for driving improvement, change, or new initiatives
- Team leads, project managers, and cross-functional collaborators
- Organizations seeking a shared, practical approach to innovation
No prior innovation or design training is required.
