Building Comprehension through Vocabulary + Background Knowledge

Join Furman Professor, Dr. Katie Kelly for a FREE webinar on Wed. May 6th at 4:00 p.m.

This session explores practical, classroom-ready strategies for strengthening students’ reading comprehension by intentionally building vocabulary and background knowledge. Participants will learn how to move beyond surface-level understanding and support students in making meaningful connections to text. Educators will walk away with tools they can immediately implement to support deeper comprehension across content areas.
