DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, January 21\, Furman University will welcome the community to a special evening that brings together all four of its institutes for conversation\, connection and learning. The event will feature a screening of Hearts of Glass\, a powerful documentary exploring the intersection of sustainable food production and inclusive employment for people with disabilities. Following the film\, leaders from the Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities\, the Riley Institute\, the Institute for the Advancement of Community Health and the Hill Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will come together for a panel discussion reflecting on the film’s themes and their relevance to the Upstate community.
